Hence, the end result for the design of Apartment M integrates the kitchen and the office to the existing generous living room as an intersection of two rectangular volumes, with the dining area, right in the center of this intersection, becoming a "hot spot" of the house. Thus, functions merge into a common image, where wood, both horizontally and vertically disposed, covering storage area, provides fluidity and unity of the space, creating a neutral background at the same time. Come join us for a brief tour of the apartment below.
This apartment dubbed as Tones Harmonize which has a combination of industrial and Nordic styles. It also mixed vertical lines with curved ones and the colors of contrary meet with complementary ones. Because of this kind of approach CHI-TORCH managed to attain a lovely home design. They believe that tones of different living kinds could blend with thinking and imaginative sense of beauty. This apartment that they worked on was short at public living space. With that, in order to settle existing dimension defects like bedrooms bigger than living room, they made adjustments of partitions.
The new owner of the apartment for a project called Igralnaya wants a Scandinavian style with light-colored walls and natural materials in the decoration. Aside from that, they also want elements of black and colored accents in the interior. The designers take note that it was important to comfortably accommodate all the necessary functions to the 34 square meters floor area of the apartment. They also made sure to retain a sense of space and air so the apartment will not be cluttered. The objective of the design was to maintain a sense of the whole space. A light partition of wooden slats was also used in the area which isolates the visual space, with natural light passes and it is perceived easily, without narrowing the space. Let us take a look at the design of the apartment's interior below.
